Set up the keyboard
- Open Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard and choose MEEP.
- In any app, hold the globe key and pick MEEP.
- Type like normal. When your words match a lyric, a song chip appears above the keys. Tap it to add the song.
Do I need Full Access?
No. Lyric matching and typing work without it. Full Access adds key sounds, vibration, album art, previews, and optional song-title matching. MEEP never sends what you type anywhere. See our privacy policy.
Use MEEP in Messages
- In a conversation, tap +, then More, then MEEP.
- Type a lyric line and tap a result to send it as a song card.
Which songs does MEEP know?
During the beta, MEEP knows a set of built-in songs, any lines you add in the app's Songs tab, and (with title matching on) real song titles. Previews and artwork come from Apple Music.
Something's not working
- No song chips? Make sure MEEP is the active keyboard and the app has been opened at least once.
- No album art or preview? Turn on Full Access for MEEP in Settings.
- Still stuck? Email us with your iPhone model and iOS version.
